Weekly Update

We had one runner last week with philamundo running well to finish third beaten in a photo finish at Chelmsford not disgracing himself at all. We have three entries this week, Club Tropicana is entered at Ludlow and will only run if the ground is suitable but it’s her first run over hurdles and hopefully she won’t disgrace herself, strategic heights is entered at Chelmsford Thursday evening where hopefully our Apprentice Sean kirrane will get the leg up. We had 2 runners last week, Its’ Afreebee ran at Doncaster on Saturday afternoon to finish 2nd in the Alan Wood Plumbing & Heating Handicap Hurdle. Philamundo won well at Chelmsford in the £20 Free Bets At totesport.com Apprentice Handicap over 1 mile, he was given  a great ride by Scott McCullagh. This week looks like another quite week with only Sussuido having an entry.

It was a quiet week with no runners last week but it’s all systems go with the two year olds back cantering and the turf season not long around the corner. We have numerous entries towards the end of this week both flat and National Hunt and fingers crossed we can continue the winning run of the yard.

Keyser Soze won well at Lingfield under Adam Kirby on Friday, it was great to see him back up his previous win at the same track and hopefully there’s more to come and a tilt on finals day at Lingfield on Good Friday will be the main early season target.

A quiet week last week as the team prepared for Doncaster, setting up a busy week to come. Excellent Result and No Diggity run on Tuesday at Leicester, followed by Alfie Solomons and Fink Hill who hold entries at Doncaster on Wednesday. Cookupastorm and Stay Classy are good to go in the Fillies' Nursery Handicap at Doncaster on Thursday, with Louis Treize in the Sales Race and Rebel Surge entered in the Silk Series Lady Riders' Handicap. On Friday, Rumble Inthejungle returns to the track in the Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes, with Bernardo O'Reilly and Younevercantell also running at Doncaster. Revich is set

A quiet week for the team with only three runners, two hitting the frame. Archie finished third in the Silk Series race at Wolverhampton on Saturday evening, then ran again on Sunday, finishing second. A busy week at the sales saw us purchase 13 yearlings in total, 11 from the Premier Sale and 2 from the Silver Sale, to be followed by visits to the other yearling sales to hopefully fill the stable for the 2019 season. A quiet last week for the team, with La Isla Bonita running a good race to finish second at Yarmouth on Thursday.   This week sees more action; potential runners include two in the sales race at York through Alfie Solomons and Jean ValJean then Pesky Wabbit at Chepstow on Thursday, as well as Rebel Surge at Newmarket and Bernardo O'Reilly at Ffos Las on Friday. Thistimenextyear could run at Goodwood on Sunday, in addition to entries at various courses for Nostrovia, White Iverson, Cookupastorm and Cococabala, and a stable debut for new recruit Fink Hill.  

A great week for the team saw Richard Spencer's second double of the season, including a first winner for the yard under apprentice jockey Rhiain Ingram on Archie for Inspire Racing Club.   Highlights for the coming week include Revich stepping up to a mile at Windsor on Monday, Excellent Result making his long-awaited return on Thursday at Chepstow, Stay Classy going to Newmarket on Saturday, as well as Keyser Soze at Doncaster and the winning pair of Archie and Rhiain Ingram looking to make it two on the bounce at Chepstow.
