A quiet week last week as the team prepared for Doncaster, setting up a busy week to come. Excellent Result and No Diggity run on Tuesday at Leicester, followed by Alfie Solomons and Fink Hill who hold entries at Doncaster on Wednesday. Cookupastorm and Stay Classy are good to go in the Fillies' Nursery Handicap at Doncaster on Thursday, with Louis Treize in the Sales Race and Rebel Surge entered in the Silk Series Lady Riders' Handicap. On Friday, Rumble Inthejungle returns to the track in the Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes, with Bernardo O'Reilly and Younevercantell also running at Doncaster. Revich is set

All of our horses are fine after their runs at Ascot. ALFIE SOLOMONDS, finished 19th of 23 runners in the Coventry Stakes beaten by 11 1/2 lengths, he has an entry in a £35,000 Nursery Handicap at Chelmsford this Saturday 7th July. KEYSER SOZE was very disappointing when finishing 30th of 30 runners in the Royal Hunt Cup, he ran no race whatsoever but hopefully he will be back on form when he runs in a conditions race at Haydock later this month.  RUMBLE INTHEJUNGLE, finished 4th from 10 runners in the Norfolk Stakes beaten by 2 lengths a gallant effort, he 

The Royal Ascot meeting starts tomorrow at the Berkshire track. We have 3 definite runners with ALFIE SOLOMONS running tomorrow (Tuesday 19th) in The Coventry over 6 furlongs, the race we won last year with RAJASINGHE. KEYSER SOZE runs on Wednesday 20th in the Royal Hunt Cup over 1 mile. RUMBLE INTHEJUNGLE runs in the Norfolk Stakes over 5 furlongs and we have COCOCABALA entered into the Windsor Castle Stakes over 5 furlongs to be run on Saturday 23rd June.

COCOCABALA gave Richard Spencer his first 2 year old winner for 2018 when Cococabala won at Southwell on Monday 30th April. Ridden by Robert Winston the 2 year old by Sir Prancealot was having his second start he had previously ran at Kempton on the 18th April where he finished 5th. Winning connections are Balasuriya, Cook, Cunningham, Gowing and Spencer.

MOVIE SET was the star at Huntingdon yesterday Tuesday 24th April, when winning the Enhanced Place Odds At 188Bet Maiden Hurdle over 2 miles on Good ground. The 6 year old son of Dubawi was given a superb ride by Brendan Powell they made all the running, had a small mistake at the last fence but held on well to win by 1/2 length, a fantastic win for the Fathers and Sons Syndicate.

This week we have 2 runners declared at Newmarket and 1 declared for Kempton Pesky Wabbitt runs Tuesday 17th April at Newmarket in the Alex Scott Maiden Stakes over 7 furlongs, Stevie Donohoe is on board. Rebel Surge runs on Wednesday 18th at Newmarket in the Weatherbys General Stud Book Handicap over 6 furlongs, our stable apprentice Rhiain Ingram is on board. Cococabala runs at Kempton on Wednesday in the 100% Profit Boost At Novice Auction Stakes over 5 furlongs with Kieran Shoemark taking the ride.

This morning Monday 9th April we took several of our unraced  2 year olds along to Chelmsford City Racecourse for some experience. Its always nice to get them onto a racecourse prior to them running and work mornings like this are a valuable part of their learning as not only does it benefit their training regime it also gives them an outing in the horsebox and the opportunity to walk around at the track and gain some experience. Michael Hills joined the team  this morning to gallop Rajasinghe who was accompanied by Keyser Soze  and our latest addition to the stable Strategic Heights.

THISTIMENEXTYEAR  ran a fabulous race to finish 2nd at Huntingdon yesterday Monday 26th March. He was give a great ride by Brendan Powell who held him up behind, a real confidence boosting race for this lovely 4 year old grey gelding by New Approach who had fallen in his previous and debut race over hurdles.

PATTY PATCH runs today at Newcastle in the 8:15 race this evening. The 32Redsport.comHandicap (Class 6) over 7 furlongs on the all weather track. Fran Berry takes the ride on this lightly raced 3 year old daughter of Big Bad Bob.

Today we have SIR JACK YEATS owned by the syndicate Gowing's Eleven,  running in The St. James's Place Foxhunter Challenge Cup Open Hunters' Chase, a Class 2 race over 3 miles 2 furlongs. Mr James King is on board and carries a weight of 12 stone and he will be wearing blinkers.
